Aeromatic 1912 Flying Minute Tourbillon Hand Wind Watch with Power Reserve #A1278

Aeromatic 1912 Flying Minute Tourbillon Hand Wind Watch with Power Reserve #A1278

This is a retro-styled Aeromatic A1278 flying minute tourbillon hand winding movement. The tourbillon is considered the pinnacle of mechanical watches and it is very accurate. Once each minute, the entire escapement, viewable at 6:00, rotates one complete turn on its axis, hence the term flying minute tourbillon. The 16-jewel hand winding movement is viewable via an exhibition case back.

The watch comes with a power reserve indicator on the upper right of the dial and a date wheel sub-dial is at 10:00 . The finely guilloched black dial has silver hands and Roman numerals for hour markers. A sapphire crystal is provided to guard against scratches. The watch comes fitted with a 230mm long black leather strap with a deployant clasp. The result is a a high-quality, yet surprisingly affordable, timepiece that is sure to standout on your wrist.
