Aeromatic 1912 Automatic Aviator Watch with Black Strap #A1418

The Aeromatic A1418 is an aviator watch with easy to read luminous hour markers and white minute markers both on the outer and inner dial. The distinctive hour, minute and seconds hands are luminous and contrast nicely off the black dial. A date window is provided at the 3:00 position and it can be set with the easy-grip onion-style crown. Inside is a 22-jewel automatic, self-winding movement that is viewable via an exhibition case back.

Note: The inner 0-60 time scale is backwards on purpose for use with a Sextant. It is in keeping with the dial design used in WWII.

    Not always easy to find a great working affordable pilot automatic. Was a great gift for fight enthusiast. Keep time very well and looks amazing. Keep up the great work!

    I bought this to fill the need to have a WWII styled pilot watch. It has been better than expected as it is hacking and hand winding which I did not expect. I love the onion crown and the awesome contrast of the green on black numbers and markers. The black leather strap is very comfortable and the watch wears very well on my 7.5 inch wrist. As usual, it’s a real pleasure doing business with Long Island Watch!
