The Junkers 6160-2-5 " Spitzbergen" honors the flights of the JUNKERS-airplane F13 across the northern ice world under extreme arctic conditions. Powering the watch is a newly designed 26-jewel Miyota (Citizen) automatic movement with power reserve indicator at 12:00 and a 24-hour sub-dial at 6:00. The 24-hour sub-dial can be used as military time or as a simple am/pm indicator. The watch also features a scratch resistant sapphire crystal, a 42mm titanium case, a SuperLuminova treated fully luminous dial, a date window at 3:00, a diamond-cut crown, F13 brown leather strap, and an exhibition window case back.

    I just received my Spitzbergen F-13 Model 6160-5. This is a very fine looking time piece. Clean and solid in stature yet unique with its power reserve and 24 hour displays and luminous light show dial. The diamond cut crown gives an added touch of class. This is my new watch of choice for the office. I cannot say enough about the customer service I experienced from Marc at Island Watch. From ordering (being a new model for Junkers) to delivery - the whole process was smooth simple and quick - very impressive.
