Junkers 1st Atlantic Flight Dual Time, Big Date Watch #6440-2

The new Junkers 6440-2 features a big date window at 12:00 and it has a freely adjustable second time sub dial at 6:00. The movement is a quartz controlled Swiss Ronda 6203.B encased in a polished rounded square case. The black dial is the classic Junkers Corrugated Sheet design with white numbers and luminous hands. It comes packaged in an original Junkers Tin with a black leather strap.

Nice watch

I love the look of the watch and the details on the face. I own many different watches from Tag Heuer, Omega, Breitling to Citizen, Seiko, Hamilton, etc. Was looking for a unique watch and this fits the bill. My only nit on this watch is I wish the crystal was not plastic. On the plus side, the second hand lines up with the markers perfectly all the way around the dial (not always the case with a surprising number of watches).

I enjoy the Junkers watches line. This watch was no exception. Good price for decent quality. And least but not all... great service. Highly recommend the Junkers line of watches and Island Watch!

Although the pictures gave me a good idea what to expect, they did not do justice to this timepiece. It has a large presence and about the limit for my smaller wrist. The case has an absolutely flawless mirror-polish finish. Strap is a good quality smooth leather. Second hand is spot on and the accuracy, so far, is excellent. Very happy.
