NB Yaeger Valjoux 7750 Swiss Automatic Chronograph with Sapphire Crystal #LONGFLIGHT-C1

This is a classic aviator chronograph with a 30-minute stopwatch sub-dial at 12:00 and a 12-hour totalizer sub-dial at 6:00. A blue sweep hand is activated when you engage the stopwatch function. A white on black day and date window is at 3:00.

Powering the watch is the Swiss Valjoux 7750 automatic (self-winding) movement. The hands and dial markers are treated with SuperLuminova for excellent readability in the dark. It comes with a scratch resistant sapphire front crystal and a very wearable 42mm diameter stainless steel case. Includes a black leather aviator strap. 100 meter water resistance. Screw-down crown. Made in Germany.

The whole process to acquiring this watch from the selection to the arrival of this product on my wrist was outstanding. Because of a problem with my email at my end, Marc was able to solve this problem within minutes and me being able to receive the product I wanted within 3 days. Outstanding service on part of the seller with strong emphasis on the customer, something nearly impossible to find today. Again, thanks to Marc, I have the watch I want. This is my third watch from Island Watch, and I was expecting my next order would be another Seiko. But then these NB Yaeger watches appeared out of nowhere, and this auto chrono really popped out for me. So clean, so readable, without any fancy-pants flourishes to the hands or indexes, and without the brand name taking up large dial real estate. It really looks distinctive and all business. Good snap to the chrono pushers, day/date, screw-down crown, nice flat crystal with glare reduction, and a nice thick leather strap, it's comfortable and modern looking. I have two other Valjoux auto movements, in Fortis and Sinn cases, and glad to see NBY offers them as well. Comes not in a box, but a luxury leather pouch, which is most appreciated. Well done.
