affordable brands, Orient designs and makes their own
automatic (self-winding) movements. They have done so for over
a half of a century. Never stopping, even during the 1970's
quartz movement boom when most companies abandoned automatic
development.
Today Orient has skill,
manufacturing know how, and experienced workforce to make
extremely reliable automatic timepieces that just about anyone

A little over 50% of Orient is now
owned by Seiko. That means Orient has access to the parent companies
world renowned quartz movements. So, we have added a number of
Orient models featuring quartz chronograph movements that also
feature highly desirable alarm functions for making sure you
