This is a scratch and dent Orient Mako XL with luminous dial. It is used and shows signs of use. The movement has been repaired.

This is a new, larger, stronger built version of the extremely popular Orient Mako. The Mako XL has a larger case size (46mm), an improved and beefier bracelet, a larger uni-directional bezel with easier to read numbers, and larger hour markers that are treated with luminous material. The second hand is now moon-shaped and luminous to help let you know your watch is operating under water and in the dark. Plus, the entire dial glows when charged with a light source or the sun. Inside is the "bullet-proof" Orient 21-jewel automatic (self-winding) movement. Features a screw-down crown and case back.

    amazing deal from Islandwatch for a great watch

    I purchased this as a "scratch and dent" piece but the imperfections are so minor as to be almost unnoticeable to the naked eye, so I really feel like I was given a fantastic deal. Watch was shipped quickly. I am not a watch collector, but I do like to have a "daily driver" that I feel proud of, and the Orient Brazen I've had for the past year has started feeling a little small. I wanted a diver, and I feel the cream face of this Mako XL unique and very functional in it's lume. The bracelet feels sturdy, the time has seemed to be keeping pretty well, and overall I am very satisfied. Island Watch seems to be able to come very close to Amazon for watch prices and is able to beat it with deals like these - will be purchasing from them again.
