Different with a flair of art deco inspired touches. I really like the square design with the larger than normal face. Is it a $2000 watch? Well no,... but it looks it. The Blue hands add a bit of colour, the face detail is elegant and the open heart lets one know what exactly is going on inside. I find it easy to read and very comfortable to wear. No date, but I didn't want one. No rotating dials or Tritium lighting,...again, that's not what this watch is about. It's simple, it's suave, and it's got a groovy style that I find a lot of watches lack today. Maybe I'm just old school with my time pieces, but this watch oozes a jazzy cool. The band is well done in texture and colour, and is thick and stiff,... so yes you have to break it in. Mine took about 3 weeks and now it's perfect. It matches the mood of the watch well. My other watches are now collecting dust.

Looks more like a 300-500 dollar watch on my wrist...the pics and video dont do it justice.From the slightly curved crystal to the open heart and blue hands...Love these blue hands against the cream dial. This one is my new favorite.Thanks!

Orient keeps cranking out affordable, really well-designed automatic watches. When Long had an introductory sale for this watch, I couldn't say no. The blue hands are really a nice touch when it hits the light at certain angles. I really wished it was smaller even for a rectangle-shaped dress watch. I have a 6.5" wrist and I think it might be a bit too big. also taller than expected, if the lugs angled down past the case-back it might sit better. anyways it's hard to complain for this price.
