Orient Star Classic Automatic Dress Watch with Power Reserve, Domed Crystal #EL05004W

I'm a fan of Orient and Orient Star. This is my third O/OS watch. This model has a great, clean, uncluttered, timelessly classic look to it. For some reason, the picture made me think the band would be brown, but it's black. I think either way would look good. As always, the watch had a nice solid feel- especially when winding. Fantastic value for the money!

I had heard great things about Orient Watches. Available online, but I was nervous about such an expensive purchase on line. Island Watch had good reviews - I even wrote to them. Got response quickly with the assurance I could buy with confidence. All true! Just bought another watch - just fine!

The watch was packaged well with lots of padding, arrived in mint condition, and on time. I totally get why Long Island Watch has a 4.9 out of 5 rating from Google Trusted Stores, because it's such a great site. Anyway... about the watch: It's lovely. Oozes class, without being obnoxious and flashy. As an owner of tiny wrists, I appreciate the 38mm size. It seems quiet silent as I've yet noticed a noise from it unless I listen for it in a very quiet setting. Seems to run a little fast, maybe a minute ahead from where I set it a few weeks ago, but that might be due to me having it pegged at full power from constantly wearing it so much. Other than that, it's fantastic at doing what it's supposed to do. I can't speak to the original strap that came with it as I immediately went to a gold brown strap, and recently a matte black leather strap; both look great on the watch.

This watch looks even better in person than it does online. Very pleased. And the shipping was fast and efficient as well. Island Watch will definitely be my first choice for future watch purchases.

I had some questions about the dial that can't be answered by an online photo, so Marc had the watch pulled from stock and examined personally, answering my questions. That's what I call Customer Service. The watch is a beauty. The accuracy is almost unbelievable: within one second after three weeks! Thanks again to the folks at Island Watch.

For those who aren't into the monstrous over-sized watches currently in vogue, this is a vintage timepiece, but on a silver platter. I don't think anyone in the 40s and 50s ever wore anything quite so beautiful--and I'm not sure if they had power reserves back then. This is a real beauty. Accuracy so far: within 1 sec after 72 hours! (I expect it to settle in some.) This is my 2nd Orient from Marc. Fantastic customer service, as usual. -Dan, Los Angeles

Great watch in every aspect. Small size, simple-elegant design, sturdy and accurate.

One of the most beautiful watches that I own. I like the "vintage 1920-1950" look. I remember my father and grandfather wearing watches just like this. It brings a lot of happy memories. I know that I will always treasure this for years to come. Now I know that this will not be my last Orient watch. If I get a few more in the future, it will be at Island Watch.
