Divers & Sport Watches feature LumiBrite
It goes without saying that Seiko
is a premier maker of affordable automatic, kinetic, and
quartz movement watches. But, after the introduction of the
now famous Orange Monster watch, Seiko became the leader in
luminous material for hands, dials, and markers. The Orange
Monster is the benchmark today for judging how strong and how
long watch hands and markers glow in the dark.
Seiko's LumiBrite material is a dramatically improved
fluorescent luminous paint that quickly absorbs more of the
light-energy falling on it and glows brighter, for much
longer, in the dark. Safe and harmless to human beings and the
environment, it is completely free of radioactivity and can be
used without restriction. A LumiBrite treated watch will glow
at its full brightness after only brief exposure to bright
light. Just a few minutes under normal room lighting will
often be enough to charge the material, and much less under
direct sunlight.
We feature both the Orange and
Black Monster watches as well as many other Seiko dive and
sport watches here that employ LumiBrite. We can assure you
that under a full light charge there is nothing brighter or
more impressive for reading time in limited light or darkness. |
