Seiko Presage Automatic Dress Watch with 41mm Case, and Sapphire Crystal #SARY057

Very fast shipping. Item was packed very well. It was my first purchase here. I had some questions and Marc gave solutions very quick. Seiko SARY057 really is much better than on pictures. Watch is eyes catching and looks much better than it costs)) Accuracy is +15 sec/day yet. Hope it will become better. I am sure I will buy here again. And I recommend Long Island Watch to my friends. I made a mistake in the delivery address (my fault) and the watch is supposedly returned to long island by dutch customs but is probably lost in mail and can not be tracked.

This is a great watch, and Marc is a great vendor. I wear the SARY on the stock bracelet and it gives a blended vibe of both a classic dress watch and a tool watch. I can wear it for just about any occasion, except beater duty. I first bought a SARB before realizing what 38mm case would look like on my larger wrist. The SARY057 is roughly a larger SARB if you ignore the 4R36 vs. 6R15 movement, and a pressed clasp instead of milled. For the price, those differences don't bother me. Great value for the money, especially in this size and JDM quality. The only complaint I have is the caseback is taller than I prefer which seems to press the the hardlex crystal firmly against my wrist instead of floating on top of it. I'm keeping this watch of course, but would love it even more if it had a solid stainless steel caseback.

Marc was awesome as always. I was torn between the SARB and SARY, so I emailed the company. Marc himself replied, as usual, with the advice I was looking for on both watches. Having never handled either watch, I wanted his opinion on both, and he gave it honestly. Purchased the SARY and couldn’t be happier. Thanks again Marc! I am sure I will be buying again soon.

My purchase experience of a SARY057 from LIW was very good. The web site is informative, easy to navigate and up to date. Placing an online order was straight forward and I had the watch in just a few days on the west coast. The watch arrived in seemingly good order, well boxed and labeled with a tracking #. Great service from LIW. The watch itself is a very nice piece, but so far runs about +18sec/day when not worn or about +9sec/day if worn all day. The SS bracelet fit me right out of the box (7-7/8" wrist) with the 41mm case size being just about right. The white on black font color of the Day/Date doesn't provide enough contrast to easily read. (The SUN day in red font has even less contrast and is only decipherable under a bright light.) Overall I think the Seiko SARY057 is a very good watch. The LIW service was very good as far as my experience went. Thanks to Mark for great, informative videos and to a great buying experience. Very pleased with the Sary057. Excellent fit and finish with the JDM Seikos. I felt the Sarb033 would have been too small for my wrist. This is perfect and the dial has more personality vs the Sarb in my opinion. Sapphire crystal is great at this price point and the 4r36 movement is about +7 secs per day. The day date complications are a nice touch. So many great features at this price point. Very versatile watch for both dress up or casual attire. Highly recommend as an alternative to the Sarb033.

Good order & delivery experience again, but the watch has a faulty dial, it's finish has a spec of dirt small blemish on the lower left side. The chapter ring is straight. I love the look of these Sport Dress Seiko Presage SARY055 & SARY057's, so I bought both...they are priced to sell, so I can't expect perfection at this level. Still, it's annoying knowing the issue exists...the loupe, the loupe...

I really wanted a SARB033, but I've got a larger wrist and have found that smaller watches look pretty ridiculous on me. After a lot of online research I came across the Presage Series and the SARY057 specifically. Originally, I bought this watch as a sort of larger SARB, but the more I wear it the more I am enjoying the differences and the more I am enjoying this piece on it's own merits. It is an absolutely gorgeous piece! And it almost goes without saying that Long Island Watch made for an excellent, smooth and professional transaction, with GREAT communication from Marc.
