Seiko Black Monster Automatic Dive Watch, Stainless Steel Bracelet #SKX779K1

I've had my black monster skx779 for two weeks and love it. Very nice watch just like the reviews all over the net say it is. I set it with time.gov after sizing the bracelet and it has stayed within seven seconds over the two weeks. It was about a second per day fast for a while and now seems to have settled. Throughout the day it fluctuates about three seconds +/- but has remained within a couple seconds of time.gov ever since. Positional variance or the effect of wearing it seam to make no more than three seconds a day difference. It always balances out within 24 hrs back to basically net zero change. I feel very lucky, regardless of the make or model of the movement, this is really good. !!! I hope it stays like this. I hope the break in period is over. My year old skx175 was 18 seconds fast out of the box and has never changed. This 779 is a real winner.

I'm very impressed with this watch and, Island Watch. I own some very nice Swiss automatic watches including Breitling, Tag Heuer and Omega but decided I needed a weekend "bang around" watch that I could wear while doing yard work and other activities. I chose the Monster based on on-line reviews and its high dial visibility both during the day and at night. So far, the time keeping ability of this watch has been outstanding. After well over a week, it is been spot on! I have not had to reset the time yet. I must admit I have been so pleased with it that I've pretty much worn it non-stop since it arrived! An outstanding bargain that has exceeded my expectations. Island Watch shipped the brand new watch to me quickly with all the appropriate packaging including the 3-year warranty card and, included a nice chamois cleaning/polishing cloth, too! I highly recommend these folks as well as the Seiko Monster watch!
