Seiko Special Edition Prospex PADI Automatic Dive Watch with Stainless Steel Bracelet #SRPA21

This Seiko automatic dive watch is a special edition for Seiko's newly formed association with the Professional Association of Diving Instructors or PADI. The watch has a 45mm cushion-style stainless steel case with a hardlex crystal. The case has a magnetic resistance of 4,800 A/m. This new model features a Seiko 24 jewel automatic (4R36) movement with a 41 hour power reserve fully wound. A day and date display is at 3:00, and you get highly luminous hands and markers treated with Lumibrite for awesome low light visibility.

200 meter water resistance. Screw down offset crown, a uni-directional diving bezel with luminous PIP at 12:00, Hardlex mineral crystal and a solid etched, screw-down case back. The watch comes on a stainless steel bracelet with a double locking fold-over push-button clasp with a divers extension. It includes manual and a Seiko box.

I like my new watch and I like buying from Island Watch. You get the product that you expect. The shipping is prompt. The packing is excellent. I will give you one hint. Spend the few extra dollars and go Fed Ex shipping vs USPS as the USPS can take a priority mail package and delay it a week or so. I have no idea why they just do at times and then others...no. The USPS will get your stuff to you but it may take a while. I will say I have bought two watches from Island Watch and I will be back again.

Delivery was fast, watch was in great shape. I have heard lots of stories with Seiko bezels being misaligned, but I didn't have any problems with mine.

Before commenting on the watch I want to give thanks to Marc for answering all my questions about this time piece. His response time was amazing. Thank you Marc! I have only owned a couple of Seiko's before this and sold them fairly quickly. Was not impressed with the quality of the timepieces (especially a Kinetic). I do have some high end watches in my collection, Fortis, AirNautic and Lum-Tec and a Citizen Royal Marines Commando. I am very pleased with the Special Edition PADI. So far, it has been within 2 seconds a day, better than some of my other watches. The lum is outstanding all night. Marc checked to be sure that the bezel lined up with the markers and they are spot on. Very pleased with the fit and finish of the watch. I ordered a strapcode bracelet and put in on immediately. Thought about the Solar edition of the PADI but am glad I went with the automatic. Will definitely be buying from Marc again.
