The watch looks great, especially when sun is hitting it at the right angle. Shipping time was also very fast!

    First experience with Squale watch.

Posted by Di Dinh on Dec 25th 2014

Accuracy: ok Overall look :acceptable Winding screw when unscrewed to set time seems quite fragile. Bezel quite stiff when turned. OK to wear daily from time to time because of the radiant blue dial & bezel. Above are my only personal feeling about that watch. (compared to the Tag Heuer Aquaracer I have and related prices).

    Squale Blueray: The Perfect Watch!

Posted by Thomas Bartol on Aug 15th 2014

I'm a picky person when it comes to precision mechanical things that double as wearable art. The Squale Blueray I purchased from IslandWatch is perfect because: 1) Aesthetically perfect with its beautiful blue face and bezel contrasting with stainless steel case and bracelet. All topped off with a brilliant sapphire crystal. 2) The watch I received was cosmetically flawless in every tiny detail. Can this be luck? No! It's a testimony to extreme attention to detail at Squale and at IslandWatch. 3) A marvel of mechanical precision. Accuracy so far over 11 days since purchase: 4.30 seconds +/- 1.25 seconds fast each day. Amazing! Should I be happy! You bet! 4) My experience with Marc Frankel at IslandWatch has been perfect. The website at IslandWatch answered all my questions before the purchase. My on-line order and shipment was handled perfectly! After the purchase Marc has been friendly and prompt answering my questions on how to size the bracelet myself.

    Excellent watch

Posted by Rob on Jul 31st 2014

Had corresponded with Marc about this and appreciated his quick and helpful replies. Had been looking for a blue diver for a while that would work with my small (6.5") wrist. Had the Chris Ward C61 Trident which in some ways is similar to the Squale. I liked its fit and finish but wasn't happy with accuracy and ended up returning it. The Squale is slightly larger and thicker but I like the look a bit more (esp the date at 3 vs 4:30). It has been accurate to within 3 sec/day for the past few weeks. Excellent fit and finish, high quality band. Overall, very happy with the purchase and customer service from Marc!

    bezel Markers

Posted by Gregorio Lizares on Apr 17th 2014

the watch is nicely made, accurate to about -1 sec/day...worth the $490 I paid for. My only concern is the bezel markers at 9oclock is a bit off. (not aligned). Other than that everything is okey, from the bracelet, casing, and dial. hope I can get a ceramic insert for the bezel .

    Squale Blueray

Posted by Rob Ransom on Mar 21st 2014

The Blueray arrived in a trifold pouch, which was inside a cool "Squale" box. I am very impressed with the quality of the watch...the movement, weight, and the look. Well worth the money spent.

    Squale 1545BR

Posted by Chuck R. on Mar 20th 2014

I ordered my Squale 1545BR on 12/27/13 after a few emails with Marc which he answered promptly. It arrived well packaged on 12/30/13. When I opened the box I was pleasantly surprised that the watch was even better looking than the website picture. I was able to size the bracelet with no problem as I have done it before. Marc was a pleasure to deal with & I will certainly do business with Marc in the future & will recommend Island Watch Co. ** Update** After wearing the Squale 1545BR on & off for the last month I can say that it is a great buy for the money. Within a 24 hr period my watch is -4 seconds. Very acceptable to me. It runs as well as my Rolex Submariner & looks just as nice. The dial looks fantastic in the daylight. The bracelet is comfortable & well made. I'll be picking up the 1545 classic when it becomes available. Thanks for a great watch Marc. We will do business again.

    Squale

Third watch I have purchased from Island watch perfect customer service. I love the Squale Blueray dive watch. Build quality and fit and finish are as good if not better than my Rolex. Cannot wait to buy the black face one. Marc is awesome to deal with. Only place to purchase watches in my opinion.
