This vintage watch
takes its cues from Italian military-style watches in the
1930's, but it features a modern case size and today's high
tech, precision assembly. A special "sandwich" dial is used
where the lower layer is painted with Luminova material
and the upper layer is laser cut to let the markers show through.
The proven and reliable Unitas 6497 mechanical
movement is the centerpiece of the watch with Cotes de Geneve
finishing and blued screws via an exhibition case back. Has a
scratch resistant sapphire crystal with AR coating on the
inside.

Solid 316L stainless steel, polished, 46.5mm diameter, 17mm
thick. Band:
Thick leather strap, knife edge buckle w/MOD engraving. Water Resistant:

This vintage
timepiece is modeled after a watch used by the German
Kampfschwimmer during the 1940's. It features a modern, larger
case size and today's high tech, precision assembly. A single
layer "California" dial is used to be as close to the original
as possible. Special Luminova luminous paint has been applied to
the markers and blue segmented hands to give a warm vintage
feel. A Unitas 6497 mechanical

The Aristo 3H32S
pilot watch is a classic sized 40mm case design. It features a
Swiss Made ETA 2824-2 automatic (self-winding) movement,
SuperLuminova treated hour and minute hands, a date window at
3:00, and a sandblasted (non-reflective) stainless steel case.
The oversize crown allows quick time changes (even with gloves
on) and a display case back allows you to see the movement. The
pilot style dial has luminous 60 minute markings on the outer
dial and luminous hours on the inner dial. The watch is fitted
with a thick brown leather (aviator style) strap with rivets
near the lugs and it has a stainless steel buckle clasp.

If you were a
pilot in WWII, you might have worn a watch like this on your
missions. Back then, this type of pilot watch was designed to be
large, rugged and easy to read. The oversize crown allowed for
quick time changes (even with gloves on). And like the
originals, the pilot style dial has 60 minute markings on the
outer dial and standard hours on the inner dial. All dial
markings and hands are treated with SuperLuminova for excellent
night-time visibility. The watch is fitted with a thick brown
leather (aviator style) strap and it is powered by a Swiss ETA
2824-2 automatic movement viewable via an exhibition case back.
