Vostok-Europe Lunokhod-2 Grand Quartz Chronograph Diver with Tritium Tubes #6204212

Vostok-Europe Lunokhod-2 Grand Quartz Chronograph Diver with Tritium Tubes #6204212

This Vostok-Europe Lunokhod-2 chronograph watch has extra large sub-dials for easier readability in all situations. The watch is powered by a 6S30 Miyota quartz chronograph. The second hand "sweeps" similar to a mechanical movement and is more precise for elapsed time measurement. Technically, Miyota incorporated a fine-tooth “velvet wheel” for turning of the second hand – as is traditionally used in all mechanical chronographs. The watch has a 1/30 second chronograph action that times up to 60 minutes. Includes a helium release valve, a hardened K1 mineral crystal, a black PVD 316L surgical grade stainless steel case, an up to 4-year battery, and a rotating inner bezel with minutes counter. The watch uses 15 Tritium tubes for illumination in the dark. 13 are set standing upright in "candle" holders for maximum lume. Comes with 2 interchangable straps. One silicon and a leather strap with matching contrast stitching. Both have a secure, non-release custom buckle system.

Great seller. Not so great Vostok experience.

Purchased Vostok-Europe Lunokhod watch. Received purchase in 48 hours. Watch is another story. Came with screwdriver (broken) to change band. Changing bands broke both attachment screws to case (these screws are only used by Vostok). Next to impossible trying to locate these screws. (Watch now in a repair shop in Rhode Island). Watch can't be worn without a band. Would deal with Island Watch in a heartbeat- wonderful people. Don't think I'd buy Vostok again.
