Orient Union 21-Jewel Automatic Day and Date Watch with White Dial and Brown Strap #EV0S005W

This watch compares in beauty to watches costing over a thousand dollars. And my experience with previous Orient watches leads me to believe that the quality is there to ensure a long and trouble free experience. You can spend a lot more money if you want the high-end name on your watch. I choose to buy a little known watch that may be equal in value to those other guys, and use the money to buy other Orients.

My new Orient EV0S005W, a beautiful wrist watch, failed its waterproof billing. A brief swim in a shallow lake left persistent bubbly water droplets over the center of the display. Neither rice nor extreme dehumidifying remove the condensation effect on the underside of the glass face. I intend to contact Island Watch to get it repaired or replaced.

I was very pleased with the Orient Union and with my shopping experience as a whole with Long Island Watch. If I were to nitpick, I would prefer to have received the watch a touch faster having paid for quicker shipping, but it certainly didn't dull my experience. Great watch and great company!

Darker brown strap than I thought it would be, but the watch wears great and am happy with the speed of shipping and the quality of the watch. People are shocked at the price I paid.

So, this is the third Orient Watch I have purchased - 2nd with leather band. Great watch at a fantastic price - most affordable one I have bought to date and just as sharp as my expensive ones. Service was excellent and fast. I really like the simplicity of the face with full day and the date - separated. The texture on the face is subtle but more noticeable than the picture. Truly a white face not an off-white or ivory. Time - well it keeps time, my life doesn't run on seconds or minutes so I don't really pay that close of attention. I don't knock a star off since I knew what I was getting but the leather band on this and the Sun & Moon by Orient both have a plastic look to them. Easily solved with a brown Hirsch Merino or brown Toscana Oil Tanned Band - both sold here. They have more of a matte/luster like finish which just puts the final touch on the watch. Add the deployant clasp in and you have a good watch gone great. If you are on the fence buy it.

It's a beautiful watch and keeps excellent time. I'm a fan of Orient watches now.

I gave this watch 5 stars for the service received from Long Island Watch and the quality of the watch itself. The watch is better looking live than the picture suggests. So far, time has been very accurate. I have many Swiss and Seiko watches and even tho this company is owned by Seiko, I would say it's nothing like a Seiko. The look and feel is entirely its' own. Simply put, a wonderful piece to own and so incredibly priced.

Long Island Watch offers a great range of well respected watches at a great price. The buying experience was great and the watch shipped very quickly.
