This striking and popular watch is a commemorative edition of the first watch in space worn by Yuri Gagarin. This limited edition timepiece also went into space of the wrist of Russian cosmonaut Yuri Shargin in 2005. It is a hand winding mechanical chronograph with up to a 42-hour power reserve (37-hours when using the chronograph functions). The chronograph features a 30-minute summing sub-dial at 3:00, along with hours, minutes, seconds counter at 9:00, military time sub-dial at 6:00, and a date-of-the-month window between 4 and 5:00. The movement is a highly reliable and rugged variant of the famous Russian 3133 caliber featuring 25-jewels. SuperLuminova is applied to the hands and dial markers for reading time and in the dark. The case is 42mm x 13.6mm all stainless steel with a screw-in steel case back. Mineral crystal. Comes with a black leather strap with a standard buckle closure.
