Aeromatic 1912 Beobachter Aviator 24-Jewel Automatic Watch #A1434

All I can say, it is an excellent value for the price. NH35A movement that is windable and hackable is great. I don't have a whole lot of experience with watches as I have just begun this "hobby" but the watch is very nice IMO. It has a nice black dial, polished and brushed stainless case and the hour and minute makers are white with decent lume. The leather strap it came with is genuine leather but I replaced it with a darker leather nato but now I have a decent strap for another watch I own. Setting the date was tricky, be sure to pull the crown out one click and rotate counter-clockwise to set date. The size is 40mm...not a deal breaker for me as I have 6.5" wrists if it was 42mm it be even better but I'm not complaining. If you are like me and have been looking for a pilots watch and don't need an onion crown or brushed/blasted case do yourself a favor and pick up this watch. All in all I am very happy with this purchase and I'm glad Long Island Watch carries this brand.
