Bertucci A-2SEL Field Watch with Dual Lighting System, Ghost Grey Dial #22028

This Bertucci A-SEL Field watch comes with an on demand electro-luminescent dial. Push the button at 2:00 and the entire dial with illuminate with a soft blue glow. It also has Swiss SuperLuminova applied the the hour and minute hands and triangle hour markers in the black chapter ring.

The electro-luminescent feature will illuminate the entire watch dial with a touch of a button, emitting an optically pleasing soft blue light when used in no light conditions. In lower light, the Swiss super luminous hands & markers will blaze continuously (when charged by a light source).

Inside is a reliable all-metal precision quartz analog movement. Includes a scratch-resistant mineral crystal, a screw-down case back, integrated unbreakable lug bars, and a long lasting (U.S. Patented B-TYPE) Heavy-Duty Zulu nylon webbing watch strap. Up to 4-year battery life for the watch, 1.5 year battery for the EL light function.

Note: Comes equipped with removable threaded 2 mm hex head lug pins.

Hey , it's accurate ...

Day one with the watch I noticed the button lighting system was stuck. The light wouldn't turn off after many seconds. It was also very dim. I opened the back and for whatever reason the dull became a little brighter. However, I couldn't replace the plastic white ring and make it right. I ended up just leaving the plastic white ring out of the watch. The button works fine now but it's definitely not as bright as shown in pictures. Also this watch totally misses its marks. If that annoys then stay away! I almost sent it back just for that reason. A few places around the dial the sweep will hit the mark but mostly it misses most of the dial. Aesthetically speaking the strap size of 22mm is too wide for the face of the watch. It gives a very wide look on the wrist. It's a watch with kankles. Drop down to a 20mm strap somewhat solves the wide look. It is an accurate time keeper and it does have a pretty face but not one of my favorite watches.
