Brillier 43mm Americana Chapter 2 Railroad Automatic Watch with Horween Leather Strap #BR-12
The Brillier Americana Chapter 2 (Eastern Standard) Railroad watch is assembled in the USA by Fine Timepiece Solutions, in Fountain Hills, Arizona. This is a state of the art assembly facility meeting the highest standards, employing Master Watchmakers (including CMW21, a rare certification). This limited edition timepiece features the famous Montgomery dial with distinct hour figures, upright minute divisions and larger numerals in red for the 5-minute intervals. It was preferred by the men working on the American railroads in the early 1900’s. This dial configuration offered a precise reading of time to the nearest minute. The 43mm stainless steel case compliments a period correct genuine enamel dial. The vintage look is augmented by Breguet style hands, an independent seconds counter and a 24-hour indicator.
The watch is powered by a Miyota Caliber 8219 that features self-winding and hand winding with a quick-set date. The movement is regulated, calibrated, and re-oiled prior to final assembly. The hardened mineral crystal has an anti-reflective coating to give you a clear view of the time. Superluminova is used on the hands and markers for reading the time in the dark. The watch strap is made with Horween leather and made in America. The watch comes in a Brillier leather pouch that is made in the U.S.
