Description Technical Specs

Damasko Swiss Valjoux 7750 Chronograph with a 60-Minute Stopwatch and 12-Hour Totalizer and #DC66BK

The DC66BK is a Swiss Valjoux 7750 powered chronograph watch with a 60-minute stopwatch and a 12-hour totalizer function. The black ion plated case size is 42mm, but the bezel brings it to just a tick under 44mm. The case is made from ice-hardened stainless steel with a bead-blasted surface, making it more resistant to scratches. There is also an integrated anti-magnetic inner cage to guard against the movement becoming magnetized. A rotating 12-hour and 60-minute bezel can be used for tracking a second 12-hour time zone.

The screw-down crown and mechanism is fully hardened and along with a screw-in case back, provides you with a 100-meter water resistance rating. A sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides gives you increased clarity when viewing the black dial with white hands and markers. The hands and markers are also treated with long lasting CL1 SuperLuminova for reading the time in low light conditions. The day and date window is found at a special position slightly below the center axis. The DC66BK includes black leather strap with white stitching.

5 of 5 Better than Sinn (I own both brands) February 5, 2020
Reviewer: Adam S from Los Angeles, CA United States
I am absolutely blown away by the construction and build quality of Damasko. As made clear in this review's title, this watch strikes me as feeling more solid and better built than the several Sinn watches I have owned. I do suspect the black coating and ice-hardened case in the real world makes it tougher and more scratch-resistant than Sinn as well.

The bezel action is also among the best I've ever experienced. SO SOLID.

The movement also has the most durable-feel to it that I've ever experienced from ETA. I don't know if this is all Valjoux 7750 movements (I haven't experienced any others) or if this has to do with Damasko's usage of self-lubricating crown/pushers or whatever else they do to the movement.

I can't stop wearing and looking at this watch, and it goes great on a 22mm Marathon rubber strap. This has to be the best 2 grand I've ever spent on a watch by a country mile.

If you're considering this watch at all. BUY IT. It's phenomenal.
