Graf Zeppelin Hindenburg Swiss Quartz Moonphase Calendar Watch #7038-1

Graf Zeppelin Hindenburg Swiss Quartz Moonphase Calendar Dress Watch #7038-1

This is a really sharp looking retro-styled Moonphase watch with a radiant silver color dial, retro-styled hands, and arabic numerals. It features a 40mm goldtone case that is just 10mm thick and it comes with sub-dials for day and date plus a red tipped pointer for the number of the week. It also features a moonphase sub-dial at the 6:00 position on the dial and it has a retro type Hesalite dome crystal. The watch is powered by a Swiss Made Ronda 706B quartz movement. Includes a screw-in case back and a hand made leather strap with matching stitching. It's a very handsome watch.

Great looking watch - and four hands!

Posted by edward r. on Feb 3rd 2021

Being a moonphase watch, it takes a while to do the original setting but it's worth the time and effort. The dial is very nice looking and beautifully detailed. The fourth hand is unusual in that it shows the week of the year which I have never seen before. The watch has been running perfectly for a month and is very comfortable with the calfskin band. My first German watch and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another!

    Intoxicating looks, awesome features

This watch is absolutely gorgeous. Setting the moon phase feature can be a heck of a process but is definitely worth it in the end. The calendar week feature is quite unique and I have yet to see this on any other watch. The watch seems to be keeping time just fine. I am very satisfied with this piece and my experience with Long Island Watch.
