    My first power reserve automatic

Posted by David White on Jul 6th 2016

Love watching the needle move up as I hand wind it. This is a fine timepiece, not a "sports watch". Classic numbering, classic hands. The movement is tight -- no slop in setting the time or the date. Nice thickness and coin-edge on the case. It has an exhibition back, no special decoration besides being marked Myota, twenty-six jewels. Nice leather strap attached to case with screws, no springbars. Overall, luxurious and impressive.

Graf Zeppelin Nordstern North Pole Watch

Watch commemorates the Zeppelin 1931 expedition to the North Pole. Nice watch with see through back and handy power reserve. "Graf" is German for Count.
