Islander 38mm Automatic Dive Watch with Solid-Link Bracelet, AR Sapphire Crystal, and Luminous Sapphire Bezel Insert #ISL-21

As someone with a small wrist ( 6in or 15.5cm), I have been looking for a small dive watch for a while. This fits me perfectly and is not too bulky or heavy. With the vibrant green color, it matches my outfits that are neutral colored. The bezel is centered and it keeps time well. The shipping was very fast and came with all the tools needed to resize. I would buy again from Long Island Watch.

The only issue with the watch is some sharp edged on the bottom of the end links. When putting on the watch it scrapes the wrist sometimes but nothing major. Besides that it’s a beautiful well built piece.

This was my second Islander, as I was impressed by the first. I was interested in the color because I wear green alot, and the smaller size. I love dive watches but have often wished that they were more modest in size, so I thought this was worth a try. The reasonable price made the decision easy. After sizing up the bracelet I found it difficult to take off. I love the look and feel of it, with the weight imparting a sense of quality. The domed sapphire crystal is beautiful when reflecting light and provides minimal distortion, making legibility from all viewing angles excellent. The sapphire bezel insert is the icing on the cake, and the lume is very nice. The quality of the bracelet is excellent, and I appreciate the solid end links. This is the first time I bought a watch on a steel bracelet and didn't feel the need to replace it with something better. Very nice. I did, however, purchase an Islander rubber strap for it, just to have another option. But I definitely prefer the bracelet. Thanks, Marc and Long Island Watch! You people have really set a new standard in quality and service.

This is my first mechanical wrist watch, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but this watch absolutely exceeded my expectations for the price I paid. Couple things to note however: 1) the color is a lighter shade of green than the pictures here would have you think 2) you must threadlock the bobblehead screws after sizing. And don't forget the ones on the endlinks.

I replaced the sapphire insert with a ceramic one for the look I wanted. It was good before but perfect after. The case finishing and chapter ring alignment is punching way above its price point. I don’t know if Mark has the movements regulated but mine is plus... nil? Basically unnoticeable. I’m satisfied to the point where I can say this is purchase one of many to come.

My "Mini Hulk" arrived yesterday. It arrived early, tracking was good. 0 complaints about delivery and ordering process, v smooth. Watch arrived with additional jubilee bracelet. Drilled lugs made it a dream swapping out straps/bracelets, v nice. I only had 1 question about the watch: should the winding mechanism disengage on screwing in the crown? (No, keeps winding btw) I received an answer within a couple of hours, v nice communication. Love my green Islander. Specs can't be ignored at this price, v good value.

This watch packs a huge punch for the price. You're getting a watch with much nicer parts than a Seiko in the same price range. Everything lines up, accuracy is decent and the lume is pretty good. You are also getting great customer service when you buy from this company. Some negatives: It seems like you can kind of see the adhesive strip through the sapphire bezel insert. Not a huge deal but it is noticeable. The watch also came with a big scratch across one of the endlinks BUT they are sending a replacement, so no big deal. Overall, this is a great watch that is currently stealing my attention away from a few more expensive pieces in my collection. I am quite satisfied with this purchase.

This watch is really good! Green is my favorite color and this is my favorite shade of green. The Marine Master hands are a welcome change from the SKX arrow hands. The red dot is a nice pop of color. I wish the bracelet didn't taper so much (20mm to 16mm). A taper to 18mm would've been better, I think. Marc, if you see this, PLEASE make this in the 43mm size!
