Islander 38mm Automatic Dive Watch with Solid-Link Bracelet, AR Sapphire Crystal, and Luminous Ceramic Bezel Insert #ISL-22

Island Watch would like to introduce you to the new Islander dive watch. You will immediately notice that is has a very familiar 38mm case with an offset screw-down crown at 4:00. Thickness is 13mm and tip to tip it is a very wearable 44.5mm. Note that the lug ends are drilled for easier bracelet to strap changes. The case back has a rendering of Long Island on it along with the Islander name, Island Watch and 200 meter water resistance.

Inside the case is an NH36, 24-jewel automatic movement with 21,600 vibrations per hour. This self-winding movement supports hand winding and hacks (seconds hand stops when you pull out the crown). Power reserve is about 41 hours fully wound. The NH36 also has both a day and date wheel viewed at 3:00 on the dial.

The orange dial has SuperLuminova on the hands and hour makers and the Island Watch logo is black under 12:00. The 120-click uni-directional bezel has a scratch-resistant black (diver marked) ceramic insert that is also treated with SuperLuminova for a maximum glow-in-the-dark experience when lights go out. It's bright and long lasting.

The dial has enhanced visibility due to the use of an anti-reflective flat sapphire crystal that also guards against scratches. The anti-reflective coating is on the underside of the sapphire and it imparts a bluish hue at some viewing angles.

Upgraded: The bracelet has solid links, and solid end links. Screws are now used for adjustments (instead of pins) for sizing the bracelet. It now also features a robust milled scissor push-button deployant clasp with three position micro-adjustment. Also, The crown is now signed with the Island Watch logo.

NOTE: The Islander dive and dual-time watch is compatible with aftermarket parts available at Island Watch (and elsewhere) for the SKX013 models, such as crystals, bezels, inserts, chapter rings, dials, hands, bracelets, etc.

I got mine three days ago and I am delighted so far. Excellent lume, top finish, very good bracelet, beautiful orange color. Looks good on my 37,5 mm wrist. A very good watch overall at a very good price. Top service from ISL, the watch took 20 days to get to Spain, which is not bad under pandemic circumstances. Highly recommended.

I need some more days, maybe a week, to evaluate the functioning and accuracy. Now it seems to run a bit fast. The color is amazing. The bracelet is good, but it is missing some more micro-adjustments and/or a couple of half-links. Not perfect yet, but very good for the price and general specs.

when i receive the watch, i change it into jubliee strap immediately, however i found that it is very very difficult to change. Apart from that, the watch is gorgeous. i love the watch very much, i wear it everyday now and recommend this web site to all my friend. thanks Marc...i think i am the only one from Hong kong to buy this watch..XD

Looks as good and better than I hoped. Finishing is top notch. The size is perfect for me and it feels great on the wrist. I could have bought other name brands but they wouldn't stack up on features and looks. It was important for me to get the 38mm size since I have thin wrists (6.75"). The watch is a replacement for a 43 year old Caravelle that finally bit the dust. After wearing it a couple of days and winding it up to full it has been keeping great time (about +5 secs per day). Love the lume and the bracelet is simple to adjust. It arrived a couple of days earlier than expected. I am very happy with my purchase (of course)! Thank you Mark H. Lochbihler

Simply put The best vendor I have ever worked with Mark respond to all emails Provides reasonable answers I have never had to return anything but I am sure if I had to it would be seamless. Mark understands his customer The one down side is I need to keep purchasing watches As he has so many great ones. About the watch Amazing is all I can say Bob Orman Florida

Really liked the watch, but thought it too small and ordered the larger size of the same watch. Return was processed quickly and I received the larger size.
