Island Watch would like to introduce you to the new Islander dive watch. You will immediately notice that is has a very familiar 38mm case with an offset screw-down crown at 4:00. Thickness is 13mm and tip to tip it is a very wearable 44.5mm. Note that the lug ends are drilled for easier bracelet to strap changes. The case back has a rendering of Long Island on it along with the Islander name, Island Watch and 200 meter water resistance.

Inside the case is an NH36, 24-jewel automatic movement with 21,600 vibrations per hour. This self-winding movement supports hand winding and hacks (seconds hand stops when you pull out the crown). Power reserve is about 41 hours fully wound. The NH36 also has both a day and date wheel viewed at 3:00 on the dial.

The yellow dial has SuperLuminova on the hands and hour makers and the Island Watch logo is black under 12:00. The 120-click uni-directional bezel has a scratch-resistant black (diver marked) ceramic insert that is also treated with SuperLuminova for a maximum glow-in-the-dark experience when lights go out. It's bright and long lasting.

The dial has enhanced visibility due to the use of an anti-reflective flat sapphire crystal that also guards against scratches. The anti-reflective coating is on the underside of the sapphire and it imparts a bluish hue at some viewing angles.

Upgraded: The bracelet has solid links, and solid end links. Screws are now used for adjustments (instead of pins) for sizing the bracelet. It now also features a robust milled scissor push-button deployant clasp with three position micro-adjustment. Also, The crown is now signed with the Island Watch logo.

NOTE: The Islander dive and dual-time watch is compatible with aftermarket parts available at Island Watch (and elsewhere) for the SKX013 models, such as crystals, bezels, inserts, chapter rings, dials, hands, bracelets, etc.

    When I saw this yellow dial, for some reason it just caught my eye. Then when it's available in 38mm, I had to have it. I have a 6 1/2 inch wrist, and it looks like it was made for me. I can't be happier with the watch. After I removed the appropriate amount of links, the bracelet fit, but maybe a little snug. That's when I saw that Island Watch sells a buckle that fits my bracelet that has 6 micro adjustments. Now my watch fits just exactly how I like it. I'm just thrilled with this watch. With the yellow face, it's unusual. It keeps great time. The dial size looks great on my wrist. And now, it fits me perfectly. Whenever comes a time that I'm looking for another watch, I know where I'm going. Island Watch is one great-run company.

    This is a spectacular piece, this is also my fourth purchase from Island Watch and as always the service is excellent. The watch itself is simplicity but in a way, elegant, the fit and finish of the watch is top notch, someone is doing a great job in QC, although 38 MM is not my favorite size I've grown used to how it looks on my wrist. I am proud to have it in my collection and I will buy from Marc again, soon probably as he has such tantalizing watches...

    After owning this watch for more than 2 weeks, I like it even more than when I first opened the box. Not only does it look great and wear just as well, the lume is outstanding. The lumed bezel looks like it is floating over the bright dial hands and indices. Everything is quality and I would recommend this watch to anyone.

    Beautiful Yellow

    I bought this because of the yellow face and black bezel, which is unique and striking. The yellow is not so strong as to make the watch look cheap. Rather, it's an elegant shade. Also, while I realize accuracy varies from watch to watch, mine is keeping incredibly accurate time. Over three days, it has gained just 3 seconds. As always, dealing with Long Island Watch was a pleasure.

    The sapphire crystal and bezel give the watch a vibrant look that only more expensive divers can match. However, it would be fantastic if you could do a line of 40mm with emerald green and a sky blue dial like the Breitling Superocean. Thanks for keeping me Seiko diverless.

    It’s hard to find a watch that isn’t gigantic, and I love the size of this on my relatively small-boned wrist. It has a nice heft and I love the luminous bezel. I ordered the yellow faced model and was surprised that it had a metallic sheen rather than a flat yellow sheen as it showed in the pic. Nonetheless, I love the yellow and it casts slightly different shadings depending on the light. If you like a big statement, they have that too with a 44 mm, if memory serves. It shipped and arrived quickly with tracking info. I’m very happy with it.
