Islander 22mm Sandblasted Solid-Link Watch Bracelet for Islander ISL-11, ISL-12 Curved End #BRAC-01

This is an OEM Islander bracelet for the Islander ISL-11 and ISL-12 models that have a sandblasted case. It will also fit Seiko Turtle watches such as the SRP777. Sizing is done with screws (not pins). There are three holes in the milled scissor deployant clasp for fine adjustments. The end links are solid and curved. Note: Stainless steel spring bars are not included.

I purchased this bracelet for my ISL-11 and was aware about the slight mismatch in appearance. The bracelet has a darker color, like Titanium. I wonder if that is a plating. I have fixed that issue by giving the bracelet a sandblast and now it matches the watch head perfectly. Also I would like to mention that ALL screws were not tightened and need Loctite glue applied before tightening for extra security. Now I’m happy!

As Marc noted in his video the sandblasted bracelet ment for the ISL-11 and ISL-12 does not match in that it is a decidedly darker hue than the watch case. That notwithstanding, it is a comfortable, well made bracelet which I decided to keep. It is easy to size with the screw links but the solid end links are so tightly machined that I was unable to use the thicker spring bars and had to settle for thinner bars. If I had it to do over I would go with the BRAC-04 brushed bracelet.
