The Laco Sorrento 861965PVD model features a scratch resistant sapphire crystal and the 42mm black PVD case design houses a Laco 21 automatic (self-winding) movement. The watch has a black Type A Pilot dial with an easy-to-read hour-minute scale. Like the original WWII Laco watches, there is no date window. Includes a really nice aviator leather strap with rivets like those used in WWII.

    Service seemed automated: I placed the order with a request for the advertised 5% first time discount . I received no reply to this, neither did I get any follow up correspondence after placing my order in this regard. With regard to the watch itself: it was as expected, with all packaging, certificates, etc included. However, the lume dial is very disappointing- it loses its charge after a very brief time. It also charges very poorly. I have an orient diver that has been sitting in a fairly dark room for at least 2 weeks and the display still glows . This Flieger will only glow if charged under high light (direct sunlight or a powerful torch). Given the enormous import fee I had to pay for this (20%) I feel particularly disappointed with my purchase.

    This watch will be graduation gift for my nephew. It is a great-looking pilot watch and I know he will love it.
