The Laco Aachen Taupe 862126 model features a beautiful sunburst taupe color (type B) dial and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. The 39mm case design houses a Laco 21 automatic (self-winding) movement. The hands and dial markers are treated with SuperLuminova C1 for excellent readability in the dark. Like the original WWII Laco watches, there is no date window. The watch comes with a handsome leather aviator-style strap with rivets at the lugs. 18mm lug width. Exhibition window case back.

    Absolute adore this watch, although it has a simple Miyota movement, the overall case construction, strap, etc is of the highest quality. it is now my favorite watch and I got it at an affordable price. I was lucky to get this limited edition color which I think looks incredible. Very unique looking, I recommend this Laco series if you are not the type of guy that easily spends $1000 in a watch. Great Service by Long Island Watch.

    The watch is exactly as described. The taupe dial adds a bit of a more formal watch feel without being flashy. The hour markers on B dial in the 39 mm size are a bit harder to read than I expected. If that is a concern the A dial might be a better choice. The 18 mm strap is proportioned properly but may look small on a big wrist. Overall I am very pleased with both the watch and Island Watch's customer service.
