Marathon Swiss Made Quartz USMC Military Navigator Watch with Tritium Illumination #WW194013BK-USMC

Marathon Swiss Made Quartz USMC Military Navigator Watch with Tritium Illumination #WW194013BK-USMC

The Marathon Military Navigator Pilot's Quartz is a highly accurate watch built to strict military specifications under MIL-PRF-46374G. Designed for pilots, parachutists, and law enforcement, the Military Navigator Pilot's Quartz is made to withstand the challenges that may face it in a professional or everyday environment.

First developed by Marathon Watch Company in 1986, the Military Navigator Quartz was developed as a request by Kelley Air Force Base for a watch which could be used at high altitude, withstand extreme changes in pressure and altitude, as well as be an easy to read timepiece for a pilot. Marathon fulfilled this with the Military Navigator Pilot's Quartz. Made from a specialized fibershell case that is water resistant to 6 atmospheres (60 meters - 200 feet), sweat and shock resistant, as well as lightweight. Included with the Military Navigator Pilots Quartz is a 20 millimeter width nylon strap made underMIL-S-46383B, Type III.The Military Navigator Pilot's Quartz also uses a special acrylic crystal which is resistant to extreme rapid changes in pressure that would be experienced by a parachutists that would normally cause a watch's crystal to shatter or come loose from the watch.

The Military Navigator Pilot's Quartz is made in La Chaux de Fonds, Switzerland to guarantee the highest level of quality and accuracy in manufacturing. Powered by a Swiss made, high torque, 3 jewel ETA F06 quartz movement, the Military Navigator Pilot's Quartz guarantees you a high degree of accuracy in timekeeping. The ETA F06 movement is accurate to -0.3/+0.5 seconds per day and also includes an End of Life (EOL) indicator that will advance the seconds hand once every 4 seconds to inform you that a battery change is needed. Replacement battery is a 371 cell. The Military Navigator Pilot's Quartz uses self contained Tritium gas tubes to ensure constant visibility in low light situations, a gas tube is placed on each hour marker, hand, and at the 12 hour marker in the bezel. Tritium tubes are self illuminating gas tubes which contain an isotope of hydrogen, meaning they will not dull down in brightness like normal photoluminescent (glow in the dark) paint which requires an external light source to create a glow.

The Military Navigator Pilot's Quartz combines military durability with Swiss craftsmanship. The Military Navigator Pilot's Quartz is an accurate timepiece that will satisfy you for years.

    Perfect Toolwatch

Posted by JF Laissus on Dec 9th 2018

First, allow me to say that Mark and his company are offering a top-notch service! Delivery to France in just five working days, excellent communications, and unbeatable prices: happy return customer here! This Marathon Navigator is an excellent toolwatch. Extremely light, you barely feel its presence at your wrist. You can fit any NATO or ZULU strap, which add versatility to the already impressive array of qualities this timepiece already has. So far, my navigator is very accurate (+2 sec only after a week). The illumination is incredible! Thanks to H3, there is no need to charge the dial to get some kind of lume. In low light conditions, the hands and indexes will remain legible. If you add to all these a distinct yet discrete USMC affiliation, this Navigator has "Favorite Toolwatch" printed all over! Semper Fi!

    Great watch!

I’m a former Marine so I love this field watch. Now I have to save to get the WW194006USMC. I like the tritium tubes so I don’t have to charge photo-luminescent paint.
