    Don't waste your money

I was sooo excited when this bracelet was back in stock. I purchased immediately and was disappointed just as fast. Marathon should be embarrassed selling these for $300 on their site. Links are cheap and impossible to remove. Stamped clasp?! Marc sells entire watches with better bracelets for less than this. So disappointed and will be selling on ebay. If I hadn't scratched the sides trying to loosen the double link-screws I'd return it.

    Exactly what my gsar needed

Posted by ryan on Feb 7th 2021

Exactly what my gsar needed. My watch came with the black rubber strap and my wife surprised me with the green rubber as well as a few natos. The stainless bracelet is exactly what I needed to be able to dress the watch up a bit. I'm glad I ordered it. My only complaint would be the micro adjustments and the clasp. The clasp is stamped steel of good quality but it doesn't match the quality of the bracelet. It is similar to what you'd find on a seiko or any other lower priced watch. That one detail being updated would have this bracelet rival the offerings of higher end brands. But overall the price of the bracelet matches the value and quality received. Again, a small complaint and wouldn't let that stop me from buying again if needed.

    Nice bracelet but....

What's with the sizing pins on this bracelet? They are impossibly difficult to remove! You need two jeweler's screwdrivers and they are very tight. I didn't see any loctite on the screws but they are sure locked in there. The bracelet is sturdy and looks great on my watch but it was VERY difficult to size.

    Nice change.

I replaced the stock rubber strap with the bracelet and I’m happy with the change. The only issue I had with the strap was the smell. It had a very strong, sweet smell that permeated everything; my skin, my clothes, the air. You could smell it several feet away and I couldn’t get rid of the smell. The bracelet solved the problem finally. It’s a nice bracelet on its own and I’m happy with it.

A good bracelet, just not "great"

Posted by MICHAEL K. on Nov 7th 2018

I've read great reviews on this bracelet and I may be in the minority. I'm just not super impressed. I've got a Strapcode bracelet I like better for its weight and fit. I will say that the Marathon does not pull arm hair like the Strapcode can from time to time. The Marathon is lighter and feels a little chincy when closing the clasp. It does have a diver's extension and multiple micro adjustments as well, so that's a gain over the Strapcode. So is it good? Yes. Is it $200 good? Probably not.
