Melbourne Flinders Swiss Automatic Dress Watch with White Dial, Sapphire Crystal #FL.40.A.3HD.05

Melbourne Watch Company was founded in 2013 with the launch of the Flinders collection. Now in their fifth year, they have brought the Flinders back with some upgrades, including refined materials and finishing and a Swiss Made automatic movement.

With a classic dial design and versatile 40mm case size, the Flinders is suitable for both business and casual wear. The slim profile case can be slipped under a shirt cuff and is comfortable for weekend wear. The new Flinders Edition is powered by the Swiss Made, Sellita Cal. SW200-1 self-winding mechanical movement. This movement features a high beat rate of 28,800bph allowing for a smoother glide of the second hand, as well as date at 3 o'clock and a 38 hour power reserve.

Each Flinders is hand assembled by their in-house technical team at their workshop in Melbourne, Australia. Each watch is individually inspected and tested prior to delivery to ensure all standards are maintained. For peace of mind, all watches come with our 2 year warranty.

Amazing watch, amazing service..

I admired a watch that wasn't fitting my budget. I reached out to Marc to see if he can help me find an alternative. His responses were prompt and his suggestion was superb. I'm glad he had it in stock because looking around, I couldn't find the watch for sale anywhere else especially for the price point. Long story short, pay this man.. Get yourself a new wrist piece. You'll thank yourself.

Good looking timepiece, but low build quality!

I was very happy to receive my Flinders watch, it looks stunning! However, upon a closer look at the dial, I noticed several pieces of dust floating around, which is obviously not a good sign. There was also a black speck stuck in-between the vertical lines of the dial, completely ruining the aesthetics of the watch. If this is any indication of the general build quality of Melbourne timepieces, I would highly recommend staying away from this brand! Unfortunately, I had already worn the watch for about 8-10 days by the time I noticed these issues, hence I'm not able to return the watch. LIW offered to send it for a cleaning, and I much appreciate their customer service. However, I really regret buying this watch, and would definitely not recommend it. As a side note, the specs of the watch says it's 9.9mm thick. To me, the watch looks HUGE! I can't make my own measurements at the moment, since the watch is at the service center, but I can't imagine its height is less than 10mm, no way!
