Messerschmitt Radiant Silver Dial Special Edition Quartz Dress Watch #KR200-SS

Messerschmitt Radiant Silver Dial Special Edition Quartz Dress Watch #KR200-SS

This new Messerschmitt special edition watch is designed to pay homage to the rare and short lived Messerschmitt KR200 three wheeled automobile that went on sale in Germany in 1955. To promote the car, a special edition model was run at the Hockenheimring to set a 24-hour speed record and it broke 22 international speed records in its class, including the 24-hour speed record, which it set at 103 km/h. The car was discontinued in 1964. The KR200-SS watch features a dome mineral crystal, a beautiful radiant silver dial with silver hands and hour markers, a date window at 3:00, and a 38.5mm stainless steel case with a screw-in case back. The watch is powered by a Swiss Ronda 515 quartz movement and it comes on a matching deep black leather strap. Includes a gift tin with a rendering of the KR200 car on the top.

    Great company

My 4th or fifth purchase always the best experience. If you find it here buy it from here even if marginally higher price because the quality is top notched and satisfaction guaranteed. No incentives given to me to write this review

    Clean & Cool

Typical great service from LIW. I didn't expect it on time for X-Mas, but it arrived two days before. Minimalist design. There aren't even any minute markers on the rich, silver-tone dial--and no chapter ring. The polished 38.5mm flying saucer case gives it a vintage look. Very clean and cool, with the "Messerschmitt" name in elegant italics. I put on a SS bracelet which makes the watch a tad more dressy. Very nice. My first watch made in Germany.
