Messerschmitt Fliegeruhr Watch with Black Leather Strap #ME-42S

If you are looking for an affordable, great looking Aviator watch, this new Messerschmitt model ME-42S from Aristo is a great choice. It is really well done and it has a perfect sized 42mm case. The hands and hour markers are black and the dial is a rich grey color. It is very easy to read. Inside the case is a Swiss Made Ronda 515 Quartz movement that provides you with very accurate time keeping. Comes with a black leather strap with contrast stitching. It also features screw-in stainless steel back. Nice looking watch.

Just as expected, my ME-42S arrived in perfect condition.
The strap is a thicker leather which is what I wanted and has a taper in it's thickness.
I've had some more time with the watch and discovered some nice details on the face of this watch. The minute and hour hands are painted flat black, while the second hand is gloss black. The face is a medium -light grey, and if you look at it in direct sunlight, you will see the highlights, and all the numbers, and markings are gloss black.
It's comfortable to wear, and now I have a new obsession.

Another Homerun from Marc at LongIslandWatch. Purchased the Messerschmitt simply because I liked the way it looked. I was also armed with the knowledge if LongIslandWatch carries it, it's going to be a quality product. This one was no exception and had all the "bang for the buck" I was hoping for. This is a fine German-made quartz with great black hands, providing excellent contrast. Excellent black leather band, and the watch sits comfortably on my wrist.
I like the style and look of this watch, and Island Watch's usual fine service.
