I wanted a mechanical watch with a power reserve and a sapphire crystal. Excellent watch so far and I expect it will continue to be excellent for years to come. The OEM leather strap is nice but for my 7.5 inch wrist, it barely makes it. I will be replacing the strap soon only because I would like one a bit longer. I will have another Orient watch in my future, and it will be from Long Island Watch. Thanks

Five stars for the quality and the service_

There is one thing to say. The watch is great and Marc and his team are great. Perfect professional service and I am fully satisfied. About the watch: it is more beautiful in my hands than expected. The dial has a kind of pearled effect and the brushed metal index is seducing. When you see the price and the quality... Well, there is nothing more to say. You hear a little bit of rotor's sound, but, the whole watch itself feels luxurious. I recommend to everyone who would like to have the first dress watch. Perfect size. And thank you Marc and your crew. See you soon on your website. Cheers from Paris.

Excellent watch. Keeps very good time. Fine quality product. I find the power meter very useful especially on an automatic watch. Highly recommend it. I was wanting to purchase this model for over a year. I was fortunate to find it on sale. Thank you for your wonderful sales at Long Island Watch. I am a loyal customer.

    Love my Orient Curator

I was a bit nervous that a mechanical watch at this price point wouldn't live up to the quality of a more expensive Swiss watch. After having the watch for a couple of weeks, I am very pleased with it's accuracy and build quality. The way they finished the hands and hour markers with brushed surfaces makes for a really nice contrast against the all white dial and fully polished case. My only gripes - and they are minor ones - are that the movement is non-hacking, nor can you manually wind it; instead you have to give it a couple of shakes to get it going. That's nitpicking considering the price of such a nice looking and well-functioning mechanical piece with power reserve and date complications. All in all, a great watch, great value, and I'm very happy with it. Can't wait to get a few different straps for it.

    Excellent Looking Watch

As-is, the watch is a very dressy looking one that does not work too well for daily use. The charcoal version might be a better choice for a daily driver. The face is more pearlescent than I expected, which makes it look even more formal with the black strap. Make sure to search online for real life pictures of this watch. The black leather strap is a bit stiff, but will break in over time. I added a nice brown leather strap and this watch ends up looking much more approachable, but does not takeaway from its sense of occasion. The automatic winding system in this watch is quite loud compared to other Orients I own. I'm unsure if I owe this to a thinner case or just a noisy system. It is not noticeable during daily use, just surprised me a bit. This is one of the best deals out there for a watch with an almost unscratchable sapphire crystal face. In Summary: The face looks fantastic and with the brown strap I am completely satisfied.
