The Orient Capital 2 is fresh take on the highly popular original Capital watch. It is a stunning re-make with black hands and a white dial featuring classic Roman numerals in place of the original's stick hour markers. The case remains a slim 40.5mm rose goldtone on stainless steel design with a domed mineral crystal and a solid case back. A sleek day and date window is at 3:00 and a small textured crown is provided to adjust the time and day and date. The watch is powered by an analog quartz movement, caliber HS911. A dark brown alligator grained leather strap with a matching buckle closure secures the watch to your wrist. For the price, this is one gorgeous watch.

    Dial more silver than white

    Confession .. I was going for a 'poor man's Calatrava.' :) Soooo close. The thing that blew it for me was the silver dial. Orient's listing says white. Confused. I'm color 'deficient,' not blind. Just to be sure I asked two people with perfect color vision ... silver. Silver is fine if that's what you like, but the look I was after was very specifically white with gold bezel.

    Outstanding timepiece. It is a very handsome piece of engineering and fits well in a formal setting. However, a more casual setting doesn't make this watch look out of place. For the price, Orient makes some excellent and handsome watches and this is no exception. Love it to bits and I can guarantee it will be on my wrist the majority of the week!

    Very Classy Dress Watch !

    I have 3 of these Capital 2's now. I think these are extremely classy and perfect for the office or for a night on the town. I also have 2 automatics, the Union and Cosmos. I love them but sometimes you need a thinner dressier watch. These are perfect for that.
