Red Star Quartz Drum Roller Watch with 44mm Case #8395G-B

The Red Star Submarine watch features a unique drum roll quartz movement. Hours are shown on the left and minutes are on the right. The watch has a brushed stainless steel case that is 44mm in diameter and 15mm thick. A second black rubber strap is also included. The dial features a red star at 12:00 on a pinstripe charcoal color dial. Water resistance is 30 meters, but it is really not for swimming, etc.

The lug width is 22mm should you want to change out the bracelet for the strap at some point. The movement uses two LR44 batteries with up to 18 months of battery life.

    Red Star Drum Roller

I was pleasantly surprised at the size and weight of this watch. It fits my 8" wrist perfectly, and feels quite substantial. Plus, I am endlessly delighted with watching the drums roll! I was a little worried upon unboxing, as the dials were misaligned, but there is a video on the Long Island Watch Youtube channel that explains how to adjust it. Overall a solid, cheap and unique watch!

    Red Star Drum Roller Watch

This is a nice quirky watch which I could not wait to get when I saw Marc reveal it and Long Island Watch delivered with no problems whatsoever and I love wearing it as my way of stating I am firmly an analogue and not a digital guy. My only niggle is I bought the black one because I thought it looked the best - which it does but the black on red digits can sometimes be difficult to make out in anything other than perfect daylight I think the black on white would be easier to distinguish. Just something worth considering for anyone swithering on what one to get but it might just be my eyesight thats more at fault than the watch.

    Red Star Drum Roller Watch

Very cool watch indeed! I have to catch myself from watching (no pun) it too much to see when it changes time. But I can always press the demo button and watch go through its rolls. Unique and affordable timepiece and Marc at Long Island Watch makes the purchase so quick and easy!
