Seiko Prospex 23-Jewel, Automatic with Inner-Rotating Compass Bezel #SRPC31J1

This striking Seiko Prospex watch is a Made-in-Japan model. It is powered by a Seiko 4R35, 23-jewel self-winding automatic movement with hand winding and hacking (seconds hand stops when you pull out the crown). A compass marked inner-rotating bezel is provided for field use, hiking, camping, etc. The hands and hour markers are luminous filled with Seiko's famous LumiBrite for excellent time viewing in the dark. The radiant blue dial and combined with a matching blue canvas strap has a great presence on your wrist. Drilled lugs allow for quicker and easier strap changes (should you decide to swap).

The watch features a 42mm diameter gun metal ion plated stainless steel case, a Hardlex mineral crystal, a date window, and it is water resistant to 100 meters. Includes a Seiko box with papers.

Wonderful watch.

This Seiko watch is very nice. The face is, as other reviewers have mentioned, a very dark blue under most light, and appears darker than the pictures taken under bright studio lights. This is exactly what I wanted as color wise I prefer a very dark blue face. The strap is comfortable. So far the watch is accurate enough for my needs. The order was shipped and delivered promptly, and all communications I had with the owner prior to the purchase were answered quickly. I've sent several other people towards the sight when they ask me where I got the watch. I may swap out the canvas strap for something else someday - something darker and leather - but not due to problems with the strap, only personal preference.

Fun Watch

What a great looking watch. The blue dial is darker than in pics but looks amazing in person. The draker case and canvas strap make this a great casual watch to tone down the bling. The compas, while not practical, is fun to play with. Movement and adjustments are smooth. The hand wind feature is a nice upgrade from the skx007.
