Seiko L.E. Prospex Automatic Dive Watch with Green Dial and Stainless Steel Bracelet #SBDC059

The new Limited Edition Seiko Prospex Diver SBDC059 is based on the design of the 1965 original Seiko 62Mas (ref. 6217) dive watch, but it has been up-dated in functions and performance to a thoroughly modern dive watch. The case has been updated to be larger, stronger and more modern style. Crafted in stainless steel, it now measures 42.6mm in diameter and 13.8mm in height. The dial has large embossed indices filled with strong LumiBrite luminous material. The new hands are quite striking. There is a sword hand for the minutes, a large arrow for the hours, and the Seiko lollipop seconds hand.

Scratch resistance is enhanced with Seiko’s DiaShield coating on the case and bracelet. DiaShield is about 2-3 times harder than Stainless Steel. And, the slightly domed (anti-reflective) sapphire resists scratching and provides a clear view of the gorgeous dial and hands. Inside the case is an automatic Calibre 6R15 movement which beats at 3Hz and has an ample 50 hours of power reserve when fully wound. Accuracy is -15 / +25 seconds/day.

Comes on a stainless steel bracelet with a double locking fold-over push-button clasp with a divers extension. It includes manual and a Seiko box. As noted above, this is a limited edition (of 1,000 worldwide). It is a rare chance to own an instant collectable Seiko watch.
