Seiko Flightmaster Quartz Chronograph with Rotating Slide Rule Bezel, 12 Hour Totalizer #SND253

This Seiko is a sophisticated quartz pilot-style chronograph with stopwatch functions (1/20 sec to 60 minutes), and a 12-hour totalizer. The bezel contains a slide rule and a compass scale. The stainless steel case measures 41mm in diameter and it has a solid screw-in back. The luminous lumibrite markers and hands are easily viewable on the black dial. Includes a black slide rule-compass bezel, date window, a red seconds (activates with stopwatch function), and a Seiko stainless steel bracelet with a deployant closure. The rotary-type slide rule can be used to convert units and calculate essential flight data, speed or fuel consumption. The watch is 100 meter water resistant. Comes with a stainless steel bracelet with a push-button deployant clasp. Includes a Seiko Box.

...but I will NEVER use the slide rule functionality. I'll be the first to admit I bought it for only the coolness factor. What the heck, I was seduced by Marc's review for Black Friday!

With all the smart watch rage lately, it's cool to find a non smart watch with a lot of "toys" (chronograph, slide rule, etc), especially one that isn't too big for my wrist. It looks really great on my wrist (about 6 1/2 inches). Only problem I have is that the crown takes a bit of force to pull out.

4th purchase from Long Island Watch. Watch was shipped quickly, is exactly as described, and made for a great gift. Micro-adjuster on the bracelet has enough room that link removal wasn't necessary. Watch looks great, and the chronograph functions great.

Whilst looking at other watches on Marc's site I came across this 'Flighty'. I wanted one of these and didn't hesitate to purchase after seeing reviews of how Longislandwatch look after their customers. The watch is around 40mm and wears quite small so if you think it's a bit big for your wrist you'd be surprised. Bi directional bezel moves very smoothly. Lume at night is excellent as you'd expect from a Seiko. Nice Chrono and a screw down crown for the 100M watertight integrity. This purchase shipped to U.K in about 12 days. So I found the tracking very helpful. Remember HM Customs charged 20% VAT so factor this in. Marc and the team answered all my email questions and I'd recommend them to my friends.
