The Seiko SNE045 model is a railroad approved watch with black 12 hour markers and red 24 hour markers. The 24-hour markers are great for travel in countries using military time. The watch is very easy to read also. It features black luminious hands and dot hour markers. It has 37mm diameter stainless steel case with a matching stainless steel bracelet (push-button clasp), and a day-date window at 3:00 on the dial. The watch is powered by a solar powered quartz movement that recharges when exposed to light. It has a 10 month power reserve when fully charged (no need for battery changes).

    I really like this easy-to-read watch with its high contrast black lettering on the white face. The contrast certainly helps my 72 year old eyes discern the time even in low-light conditions.

    Much smaller and lighter in weight than the Citizen equivalent. The mineral crystal is not recessed at all. Clear and easy to read.
