Seiko Age of Discovery, Limited Edition World Time Alarm Watch #SPL057

The Seiko SPL057 is a Limited Edition watch celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Age of Discovery. It has a green dial with goldtone accents. World cities are listed on the chapter ring. A (local time) 24-hour sub-dial is at 12:00, and a 12-hour alarm sub-dial is at 6:00. The case size is 40mm in diameter x 10mm thick. 46mm lug to lug. A curved Hardlex crystal provides you with a clear view of the dial and it resists scratches.

It comes with a leather strap and the lug width is 20mm. The watch is water resistant to 50 meters. The watch is battery powered via a Seiko 5T82 quartz movement.

Great watch. Green is very dark. If you travel truely useful. Gold accents give off occasional twinkle. Correct size for most people. Looks great on my 7.5 inch risk. Strap is very comfy. Leather sofening nicely. Haven't taken it off since I got it. More importantly come for the watch stay for the customer service. Island Watch crew 100% dedicated to your experience. Well taken care of. Can only say good things.

This is a very good-looking watch in person. The green dial is subtle unless in proper lighting, and it stuns once it's on full display. The world time function is useful and also just pretty cool to see. The strap isn't the most comfortable (maybe a 6 or 7 out of 10 to me personally) but nowhere near bad enough that I'd just consider not wearing it. Customer service was excellent; I emailed asking a few details about the product and got a very quick response. Once I received the watch it came with everything that was promise, in perfect condition. I can absolutely foresee myself making more purchases from Island Watch.
