This is the new second generation of the Seiko automatic dive watch nicknamed the Stargate. It features a Seiko 24 jewel automatic (self-winding and hand wind) movement (caliber 4R36), a day and date display, highly luminous hands and markers treated with Lumibrite for low light visibility, screw down offset orange ringed crown for superior water resistance, uni-directional diving bezel with luminous PIP at 12:00, Hardlex mineral crystal and a solid etched, screw-down case back. Comes on a stainless steel bracelet with push-button deployant clasp and it includes manual and Seiko box.

    DEFECTIVE BEZEL

    The watch arrived with a defective bezel , making a galling sound and practically lifting off the case. Marc was great during the contact , the watch had been sent back to Island watch for repair or replacement. I am hoping it will be replaced .. the feel of the watch was okay even though I did not wear it at all , so far compared to other model the Seiko stargate is delicate and not very impressive.
