This watch is becoming more expensive and harder to find. I think the NATO strap it comes with is garbage for several reasons. First it raises an already big (but NOT thick) watch up two layers of Nylon. Second, it's the color of Yak. Third, seriously, who puts their beautiful watch on $2 worth of ugly nylon? As it is an homage watch, I put it on a super soft genuine Seiko Turtle dive silicon strap with signed keeper, buckle and tsunami on the tongue, and it looks awesome contrasted against black. Almost PADI edition colors. Something nobody talks about is the dial adjacent to the chapter ring. It's gradients are tight enough that under certain lighting (LED) it glints in rainbow colors. The dial is just awesome on this piece, but not flashy. Subtle. I'm ordering a red one too. Great watch. I wish it was a bit smaller, but bonus, it's not thick like a diver, only 12.7mm Buy one! This is a nice vintage looking watch at an unbeatable price. The orange strap is not bright orange as I thought but it may have been due to my screen setting. The strap is great though. The blue dial actually looks very good with a black NATO style strap.

A fantastic watch in every way. The dial is filled with details, that divine blue with a red secondshand. That brushed finishing on the top of the case looks very neat next to the polished sides. The attention to detail takes another step with a red colored 'Sunday' on the date, and a blue colored 'Saturday'. It's a small detail but it really makes the watch so much more attractive. This is very subjective, but there was two things I did not like as much as the rest of the watch. The first thing was that the red on the word 'Sports' was a little dark. The second thing is that the case is a 44mm, which looked slightly out of place on my 7,3 inch wrist (Believe it or not). However I do think that the strap is the cause of this, the x amount of mm that the strap raises the watch with is the problem and could easily be fixed with a change of strap. At this price point the watch goes above and beyond in the quality and detail department so there really is nothing to complain about.

The sport 5 is so much watch for the price. The movement, day and date, and great style is hard to believe.

Absolutely love this watch. Comfortable to wear and looks fantastic. Reminds me of the old navitimer. Service from Marc is fantastic. Watch was shipped promptly and $5 shipping to Australia is unbelievable particularly when it arrived in Sydney after 5 days. Highly recommend Long Island Watches.
