Seiko 5 Sports Automatic 24-Jewel Bottle-Cap, Root Beer Watch #SRPC68K1

This is a new Seiko automatic 5 Sports watch is nicknamed the Root Beer Bottle Cap. The watch features a Seiko 24 jewel automatic (self-winding, hand wind, hacks) movement. The brown dial has silver and white accents, a day and date display, highly luminous hands and markers treated with Lumibrite for low light visibility, crown at 4:00, a rose goldtone, uni-directional rotating bezel, Hardlex mineral crystal and an exhibition window screw-down case back. Comes on a military style nylon strap and it includes manual and Seiko box.

Quirky watch - Great Service!

What's to say? It's a Seiko so it won't go wrong. It has the quirky bottle cap design. Add in the "root beer" colour and I was sold. I was not disappointed and I love the way to looks on my wrist. Great service yet again from Long Island Watch - third watch from you guys and each time the buying experience is a pleasure. As soon as I can choose one of your Islander watches (you make it very hard to choose) I will be back :-)

Love the look of this underrated Seiko 5. Being mostly a "diver guy", I appreciate the rugged looks of the Root Beer Bottle Cap and especially like the NATO strap - it's actually a pretty nice OEM NATO! All in all, the watch is a looker and one I'm glad I added to the collection. And, a decent price to boot! Once again Island Watch was super easy to deal with - great selection, great prices, and fast/affordable shipping!

This is my first watch in more than a decade that I bought for more than simple function. But this year I have decided to change up a lot of what I carry everyday, and with it I decided I wanted to get an automatic watch. The bottle cap in the copper "root beer" flavor is just right for that. It is a good price point, it has hand wind and hacking which I appreciate in that I can wind the watch and precisely set the time if I'm not wearing it daily quite easily. The colors and the fact that it comes with a NATO strap (which I was interested in but had never purchased before) are both personal and comfortable for me. Marc's company has competitive pricing, and the website is easy to navigate. His videos on YouTube are educational and informative as well as being entertaining. The only downside is that my son really likes the watch's color and I can't get him to like the grape or black with blue sunburst color schemes to prevent me from having to buy a duplicate for him...
