Seiko Solar Quartz Chronograph with Stop-Watch and 24-hour Sub-Dial #SSC015

This Seiko is a handsome looking quartz diver-style chronograph with stopwatch functions (1/20 sec to 60 minutes), and a handy 24-hour sub-dial. The black dial absorbs energy from the sun to power the watch. Most indoor lighting can provide a charge as well. The stainless steel case measures 43mm and it has a solid screw-in back. The luminous markers and hands are easily viewable on the black dial. Includes a uni-directional black dive bezel with luminous PIP at 12:00, screw-down pushers, a red ringed screw-in crown, Seiko stainless steel bracelet with a deployant closure. The watch is 200 meter water resistant. Always make sure all pushers and crown are screwed-in before going in the water. This is a very handsome chronograph watch.

Beautiful watch

This is a Christmas gift from my wife but I ordered it myself. I am a fan of automatic watches but this time I wanted a solar diver and I am delighted with my watch. It really is an attractive time piece and oozes quality I am sure I will get many years of enjoyment from it.

This is my 4th LIW purchase but my first Seiko. I spent a long time looking for the perfect chronograph with an elapsed-time bezel. The SSC015 turned out to be the one I settled on. By the time I was ready to make a purchase, the SSC015 was out of stock at LIW. Bummer! I joined the waiting list. 10 days later LIW notified me that the SSC015's were in stock. I immediately ordered one. Super happy with it. This is a daily-driver watch for me that will be worn both at the office and during outdoor chores and recreation. So I wanted the toughness of a true diver and the features of the elapsed time bezel and chronograph features. Very pleased so far. I get plenty of favorable comments about it plus I do not have to baby it.

Great looking diver watch. Feels solid (heavier side) and has great build quality for an amazing price. LIW customer service is superb as usual.
