Tauchmeister Automatic, 1000m Dive Watch with Helium Release Valve and Sapphire Crystal #T0079M

I have owned this watch for a little over a week and a half and worn is all day everyday. My initial thoughts are positive. It fits me well-I only needed a micro adjustment on the clasp with my 7 & 3/4" wrist. The watch is solid! No play in the bezel, with positive clicking as it rotates. The lume is good initially but fades quickly; not a big deal for me. The movement is self-winding and hand-winding, but not hacking which is a slight annoyance. Includes a screw down crown at the 4 o'clock which besides being functional I like the look of its position. I have to give the watch five stars at this point because it succeeds at all it aims to deliver and it is a super sick looking, heavy duty watch. I don't know many other places to get such a quality, good looking build with sapphire crystal for 200. Shipping was quick from Long Island Watch. i will be repeating business. Thanks from Texas!

Having more than a few diver models, the Tauchmeister was unknown to me before seeing it on Long Island Watch's web site. The look, materials and feel are all on a par with the offerings from other quality manufacturers at this price point. In fact, some of the features are rare in other diver models, like a sapphire crystal which the entire line offers. Altogether, a very satisfying package. I couldn't be more pleased with the watch and the entire customer experience. If you're looking for a timepiece and find it here and at a lower price somewhere else on line, do yourself a favor and spend your money here. Purchasing timepieces from a large mega web shopping site (we all know the site we're speaking of here!) is a gamble at best. Save yourself the time, and effort on the chance you'll get what you're expecting, in new and unused condition and in first rate condition and get it here. You will thank yourself.
