Timex M79 Automatic Watch with 40mm Stainless Steel Case and Matching Bracelet Watch #TW2U29500ZV

Timex M79 Automatic Watch with 40mm Stainless Steel Case and Matching Bracelet Watch #TW2U29500ZV

The Timex M79 Automatic is something entirely new, even though it might look familiar. It was inspired by the 1970s Q Timex and updated with a 21-jewel mechanical movement. This watch is a fresh interpretation of a much-loved Timex® icon. It features a unidirectional bezel, luminous dial markings, a woven stainless-steel bracelet and exhibition window case back so you can view the mechanical movement. This is a modern watch that captures the bold spirit of an era that changed everything.

The case is 40mm in diameter and 14.5mm thick. It has a period correct acrylic dome crystal and a black-blue “Batman” diver-style bezel. The lug width is 18mm and the stainless steel case has a polished finish. The integrated bracelet has self-adjust clasp for easy sizing. The 21-jewel automatic movement winds with the movement of your wrist. It can also be hand wound should you not wear it for a few days.

    Remembering a Classic

Great watch representing a time (pun intended) when several older gentlemen that I knew used this a their daily driver. Loved the retro band too.
