Timex 36mm MK1 Resin Quartz Watch with Black Dial and Nylon Strap #TW2R13800VQ

Timex 36mm MK1 Resin Quartz Watch with Black Dial and Nylon Strap #TW2R13800VQ

The Timex Archive project combines historical know-how with a refined design aesthetic, a true expression of values that Timex has passed on since 1854 to this day. Part of the Pioneers collection, the Camper MK1 model is a re-release of the first Camper model from the 80's. A "civilian" version of the watch adopted by the US Army for its convenience and functionality..

It features a black color dial with white Arabic numerals, a 36mm diameter resin case, and an black (slide-through) nato-style nylon strap. The watch is powered by an accurate (and rugged) analog quartz movement. The black dial features both 12 and 24-hour markers.

    A military collector's dream!

Posted by Ray Michael Parker on Jan 10th 2018

Let's hear it for this 36mm (small), no-date, fixed-pin, large-crown, domed crystal, no-frills or foo-foo, military-style watch with quartz movement. Lightweight, legible, comfy and loaded with form-follows-function historical significance, it hit every point on my current search list. Good job, Timex!
